Vertebral hemangioma are benign, malformed vascular tumor that occur in vertebra and may extend up to epidural space. Vertebroplasty has been used successfully to treat unaggressive vertebral hemangioma that can cause severe spinal pain. Studies done on management of cement vertebroplasty in the treatment of vertebral hemangioma prove that for symptomatic vertebral hemangiomas, percutaneous vertebroplasty is a valuable, less-invasive and quick method that allows enduring resolution to spinal pain.
