Inclusion criteria of percutaneous vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty include: • Pain localized to fracture or a tumor • Failure of medical therapies such as analgesics or bed rest • The fracture should not be older than one year Exclusion criteria of percutaneous vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty include: • Radiculopathy • Coagulopathy • Fever • Infection such as sepsis or osteomyelitis • Cold compression • Fracture extending to posterior vertebral cortex • Bleeding disorders
