Xeroderma pigmentosum

Xeroderma pigmentosum

Xeroderma pigmentosum, commonly known as XP, is an inherited condition characterized by an extreme sensitivity to ultraviolet (UV) rays from sunlight . It occurs due to the deficiency of enzymes responsible for DNA repair. This condition mostly affects the eyes and areas of skin exposed to the sun. Some affected individuals also have problems involving the nervous system. https://images.app.goo.gl/y75VXKNabYUc11sM6

Does it hurt, what kind of treatment is done, and do they get it on their hands and feet

Yeah and the pain is aggravated by sun exposure. There is no cure for xeroderma pigmentosum, so treatment focuses on any problems that are present and preventing future problems from developing.  Could get them anywhere on the body. Throughout as well
