Foreign Body Gingivitis

. Red, atrophic mucosa of the left maxillary facial gingiva. The alterations arose following placement of two porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) crowns. Biopsy revealed lichenoid mucositis with intermixed fragments of foreign material.
