Aschoff body
An Aschoff body (granulomatous stage) in the myocardium. Inbox shows Anitschkow cell in longitudinal section (LS) with caterpillar-like serrated nuclear chromatin, while cross section (CS) shows owl-eye appearance of central chromatin mass and perinuclear halo.
