Colonoscopy is a safe procedure but some people experience; • bloating, hard belly and gas pains • blood in feces if a polyp was removed • abdominal pain • vomiting • dizziness • heavy rectal bleeding (go to hospital at once) • fever, chills, rigors (go to hospital)
