Blame Pets of Humans !!!!!! Rickettsiae is well known for typhus fever and spotted fever Typhus fever can be divided into 3 1. Epidemic - lice as vector which is found in humans hairs 2. Endemic - fleas as veçtor which is found in animal 3. Scrub - mites that feed on living and dead organism as vector Spotted fever 1. Ticks as vector where dog as reservoir Clinical features - all should be present 1. Rashes as above 2. Fever 3. Meningoencephalitis
