Some input would be wonderful! I’ve been diagnosed with difficult to treat post-trauma headache from concussions. With large thunderclap attacks and chronic moderate migraines. I’ve had a CAT scan and an MRI, with no results. I’ve been on IV twice for three days. Once with DHE, following injections. Over 12 medications have been tried, ranging from triptans, topiramate, amitiptyine, to elavin. I’ve been put under with propofol to restart the pain cycle. Lastly I’ve gotten Botox done. Nothing as been effective, I’m currently on medical leave due to the severity of the pain and coinciding side effects. Please let me know if you have any suggests as my neurologists feel like their backs are against the walls.

Aimovig is a new medication. Self administer once a month. It have very promising results. Try cefaly device updated device it targets the prevention of headache and migraine, Nortriptyline, sprix for the attacks. Just some options in case you have not try. Good luck. I hope they can figure it out
