Compartment syndrome is the condition that results from increase in pressure in compartment of limb leading to neurovascular supply cut down. his results in end of nutritional supply and muscle death. The condition is seen in leg, forearm, hand , foot and rarely upper arm and thigh. It can present as severe pain and discoloration of the limb with no pulse on examination.It is diagnosed by increased pressure in the compartment which is more then 15 mmHg.
