Mirrizi Syndrome

It is caused by chronic cholecystitis and gallstones that will cause common bile duct constriction. Some times the gall stones can erode into the common hepatic duct and cause cholecystocholedochal fistula. Symptoms include right upper quadrant pain, jaundice, fever, cholecystitis, cholangitis, pancreatitis and elevated bilirubin.
