Anterior Triangle of the Neck- Subdivisions

Anterior triangle of the neck is formed by the anterior border of sternocleidomastoid laterally, an imaginary line in the midline medially and the inferior border of mandibular ramus superiorly. It is further divided into the triangles mentioned above. All these triangles provide important landmarks for surgical procedures of the neck such as removal of malignant lymph nodes.
