Anatomy of the heart

Blood with more CO2 enter the heart through Vv. Cava inferior & superior into the right atrium passing tricuspid valve going into the right chamber then passing pulmonary valve going into truncus pulmonalis & the pulmonary arteries to the lungs (pulmonary circuit). Here we the exchange of CO2 and O2. The blood with fresh O2 goes now through the pulmonary veins into the left atrium, mitral valve, into left chamber aorta valve, into the Aorta through the whole body and back to the right atrium (systemic circuit)
