Nephrotic syndrome 1- proteinuria >40mg/m²/hr or >2g/24 hr 2- Hypoproteinemia (hypoalbuminemia) 3-Hyperlipidemia (cholesterol >2.5g/dL 4- edema - Serum albumin <2.5g/dL 5- On light microscopy - minimal changes 6- On electron microscopy - effacement of foot process podocytes 7-Causes of edema in nephrotic syndrome-> sodium+water reabsorption.
