Course of inferior alveolar nerve
Once it enters the mandible, the inferior alveolar nerve courses through the mandibular canal, running inferior to the roots of the mandibular teeth, and carries sensory information from the mandibular molars, second mandibular premolar, and the associated labial gingivae.
