Can surgical robots ever truly replace the surgeon?

My opinion is that in my lifetime robots will not get to the point where they could preform highly complex operations such as arteriovenous malformation resection(AMV) and coronary artery bypass (CABG) since operations like these are so specific and require a “special touch” to do correctly. I personally feel surgery assisted robots is as far as we will get for a while. ( DaVinci Robot) (Mazor Robot). Anyone agree or dissagree?

I say they could perform surgery better than us. But surgery is not just doing some stuff, u gotta be prepared for complications and challenges, and so u gotta make the right desicion at right time (Which robots can't do). Plz do correct me if I'm wrong.

No, they’re amazing, because of their precision and minimal invasion, but since every body, every layer of subcutaneous etc. in people is different they should always be operated by humans
