Facial Trauma

This sweet patient of ours was in an unfortunate car accident that resulted in a terrible soft tissue injury. In addition to the nasal closure, we stabilized the alveolar ridge fracture with an arch bar in an attempt to preserve the bone, knowing we would likely lose several teeth. She is now 8 months out from the injury and about 6 months out from extraction of teeth #3-9 and ridge augmentation. In the next couple weeks we will place implants and use filler to improve the symmetry of her nose.
