A 33 week old infant delivered via repeat C section. The patient originally presented to triage for decreased fetal movement several days ago. Fetal heart tone had been nonassuring with several deep prolonged deaccelerations. The mother was borderline pre-eclamptic. The decision was made to deliver in a controlled environment versus waiting for the heart tones to tank at a future point. As the Infant was being delivered he was born in the sac with placenta separating instantly instantly. A possible concealed abruption could have contributed. Looking closely you can see that he is holding onto his umbilical cord the faint is in the NIC you but doing very well for a 33 weeks old https://www.instagram.com/p/BrV5dfghIZn/?utm_medium=copy_link
