First of all the treatment done by avoiding the reasons of OSA such as losing weight if they are overweight quit sleeping on their back because this position make tongue and soft tissues easily relax and fall back then obstruct the airway as well as quit smoking and drinking alcohol ,taking decongestant and allergic medications

The patients of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) are provided treatment when the oxygen desaturation rate is 4% at the level of > 10/hour or Apnea Hypopnea Idex (AHI) is more than 15.
