Hello everyone! My name is Hayden and I am currently a pre-med student in college, and I have an interesting question for you all. So, every now and then I have this feeling come upon me that makes everything seem fast and loud in my head even though in reality it is not, the whole room seems to have a new feeling to it- everything I do whether it be walking or typing seems to intensify and become louder yet the actions are very exaggerated and almost sped up. I know it isnt a form of an anxiety attack, and so far I havent found anything in my research that could tell me what it could be. What is your guys opinion on this and what it could be that causes this sensation?
One of my friends has that feeling all the time & they have aspergers. I have that feeling sometimes and i have severe anxiety. I call it sensory overload. Probably neurological. Id either get a referral to a neurologist or a psychiatrist. Probably neurologist just in case its not just anxiety.
