Preparation of Patient for Dorsal Penile Nerve block - The patient must be in supine position, lying comfortably. - The genitalia of patient must be exposed. - Clean any contamination, debris, and unwanted product from the area to be anesthetized. - Apply skin prep to cover the scrotum, penis and subrapubic region. - Apply sterile disposable drapes to maintain sterility.
