Pagets disease of bone

It is a disease characterized by focal areas of increased and disorganized bone remodelling. The axial skeleton is most commonly affected and the sites of involvement are pelvis,femur,tibia,skull and scapula.The first complain of the patient is bone pain at a localized area later on bone expansion and deformity is also noticed. The characteristic feature is isolated elevation in ALP and bone expansion on X rays.
