It is a mesh graft and is done in injuries where the skin has been removed which could be due to burns or trauma. There are also other techniques like pinch graft and skin flaps.

I just think that it is not burn wound but the severe skin defect rather than. Mostly it happens during bone fracture triggered by motor accidents
