Infected hand
Male, 26, caught hand at work, wound continues to fill with pus once popped. Has tried to continuously pop but also tried to leave it be to help, nearly 4 weeks and still no healing. Small cut to the left happened at the same time and has healed fine. Recommendations on how to treat and if further medical attention is required.

With sterile gloves and a sterile instrument, open the top of the lesion and immerse the fingers and hand into a distilled water and Betadine Surgical Scrub mixture (strong not weak), for 15 min. 3 X day for 4 days.

A topical silver impregnated dressing will kill the bacteria when other things don't work. Use sterile technique to drain the lesion and avoid introducing new bacteria.
