So recycling ables cells to respond to the ligands due to the typically same amount of receptors. There are some ligands that occupies receltor without disosiation or this proccess is complicated delends on what kind of connection lingand and receptor have. so bcs cells need to maintain same amount of receptors on their membrane to response signals properlly, for the second example they recycle complex( ligand+receptor) and get them seperate from each other. free receptors then go back and connect to the ligand again and for the first example the only way is to syntetise new receptors bcs during recycling receptors are demaged due to strong connection between receptors and ligands- this is called resensization. hope this helps u.... if u want further explanation, i can give u my e-mail
