Hey med Student here. Started practicing in hospital last summer 2nd year our of 6. 1. Got some kind of sore throat during mornings and CHRONIC swelling of throat 2. Doctor says no lymph nodes nor tonsils gives me broad spectrum penicillin 3. Comes back because same feeling it’s cold outside and isn’t to my advantage as I can’t really get sick leave bcs of the intensive studies, she writes out doxycycline as small culture of Aureus is present 4. I’m diabetic just to be noted , come back no better results and so I get a referral to Laryngologist gives me Antihistamines bcs might be allergy 5. Same position , no better feeling, now has elapsed 4 months of concerning about this. Or more even . 6. I get a time with a profesor , Laryngologist as well, and no more than examining physician apperance no tests, he guvs me Gardimax Nothing help about that same feeling 7. After that medicine I start with a heavy cough for 3 weeks , this is 8 months since practicing. 8. IM in my home country Sweden , I make examination with general physician with especialista Anastesiologist she takes Oxygen saturation , Blood count , throat culture and also auscultate my lungs finds dull hearing in upper lobe on right side . 9. She let me go to radiologist X-ray of lung they say I have healthy lungs 10. Since earlier I had taken immunology courses they let me do Spirometry and I had NO value of 85 which is an indicator of inflammation since my learning, but spirometry was as expected well. 11. Now I’m waiting for Allergy test , any thoughts wha it might be ? She says it might be the common flue , cause of the coughing and acute fever I had for about one day only 38,3°c
