Source: http://journal.medizzy.com/do-not-resuscitate/A person has to have a written record signed by their physician and them to actually count. Tattoos don't count (last I heard). I'm in EMS and we have to work patients until family can get us the paperwork. It's tough but it's the law.
Tattooed medic alert bracelets are popping up too......I have considered one😷😊
Hmmm you would think it was a joke but he does have the “Not” underlined. WWJD
We contact his fam to check whether they know anything about it and we’ll act accordingly !! But anyways we should respect hiss will and the law
DNR means DNR. even if family says Resuscitate you should respect patients wish. which in this case is very clear and needs no further openion.
I think that we should respect his wish. If he’ll be resuscitated and there will appear consequences he can sue us.
Nowadays Being a Doctor is more about the Will and Law..... It's no longer the intension to serve and do a noble job. Thinking of Changing my job..... What's the point when at the end of the day I'm not Happy and Satisfied with what I do🥺😖😒☹️
I believe the patient was ready to die based on his co-mobidities. He did not want to suffer anymore.
