Stroke is of two types *ISCHEMIC stroke *HEMORRHAGIC stroke Ischemic stroke is formed due to clot formation that causes non supply of blood to a part of brain ISCHEMIC - due to THROMBUS or EMBOLIC THROMBUS- AN intravascular clot formed within blood vessel EMBOLI- AN blood clot or fat deposits that has been carried to the blood vessel HEMORRHAGIC STROKE : DUE to rupture of blood vessel or aneurysm It may be intracerebral or subarachnoid It may be caused due to accident or trauma The damaged part of the brain will lose its normal working and impairs body functions TREATMENT: THE THROMBUS OR EMBOLI IS REMOVED BY PASSING A STUNT THROUGH FEMORAL OR CAROTID ARTERY AND giving proper medication
