Severe hand burn
This is a 16-year-old who received burns from a high voltage cable.⚡️ Doctors performed a fasciotomy, which is a procedure where the fascia (connective tissue) is cut to relieve pressure and treat circulation loss. A fasciotomy can save a limb, but in this case a venous thrombosis formed (blood clot) and an amputation was required.
How did you get that severe of a burn on high voltage and not electrocute himself?
People usually get thrown away from high voltages, though with bad burns. At standard household 120v, your muscles seize up and you can't let go, while it stops your heart.
The cable has very low current flowing through it. It's the current that kills, not the voltage
