Recently, I had a depression. I can't eat well, sleep well and study well. I can't focus on my study and got some bad grades. Also, I became very sensitive easily and lost tempered. Almost every night I cried. Can you give me some advices to handle my stress? π’π’π’
Hi Vcaxne, stress and depression are both very sensitive and temperamental illnesses. I would suggest most importantly look at your diet, diet has a huge role to play as your hormones affect the way you think and feel. Meditation is also a great way to bring a sense of calm and acceptance, maybe also try some breathing exercises or yoga. But the more important thing from a psychological point of view, try and figure out what is the trigger and where this depression and stress is steaming from. Once you are able to find the root of the problem, the road to healing is simple !
Thank you for the advices.. It's meaningful for me.. I hope you will achieve happiness and become the greatest doctor .. May God bless you π
Stress is an important part of someones life. It reveals the real body strength that is hidden. You should keep in touch with family , friend's and those who are close to you. Get some coffee ( it fuels stress π) better stay away then. Last but not the least make sure you in touch with God too.
Thanks for the advice. I hope you can achieve what you want the most in this life.. π
Please seek help from a mental health professional...your life is precioud
See a professional. If you had a tumor growing out of your neck you wouldnt ask random people on tips for how to cope with it. You would go to a doctor. So see mental illness for what it is, an illness, and see a psychologist.
Stock up on vitamins, exercise & sleep regularly, these can easily affect your mood & depression & ofc see a psychologist
Vcaxne....for different reasons we both are at the same pain....i can understand how hard that must be.......... hey it's not just you suffering.. someone else also. Take a deep breath and try to talk to the people who are making you feel this bad
I have personal experiences in my time as a medical student. If you are depressed, first know it is curable and there are very simple but wonderful medications. After this episode resolved you can start stress management methods, but during the episode they alone might not work. See a professional for medication, it is very common, you are very lucky you identify it as depression. So don't suffer, take treatments
Depression is bio psycho social necessitate professional health management.
