Kawasaki disease(mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome)

Disease in which blood vessels throughout the body become inflammed. The most common symptoms include a fever that lasts for more than 5 days affected by usual medications ,large lymph nodes in the neck, a rash in the genital area, and red eyes, lips, palms or soles of the feet.... Other symptoms:: diarrhea, sorethroat Within 3 weeks of the onset of the symtom, the skin from the hands and feet may peel. Recovery then typically occurs.... In some children coronary artery aneurysms can occur after 1-2 yrs. Causes are genitical and environmental factors Treatments are IVIG-intravenous immunoglobulin for immune suppression Aspirin Corticosteroids.
