Pharynx and Larynx - voice anatomy

Pharynx is part of digestive tube and the respiratory system; it is also very important in vocalization. It is divided into three sections: the nasopharynx (nasal part), the oropharynx (oral part), and the hypopharynx (laringeal or throat area). The walls of the pharynx are immoveable (with the exception of the soft palate), yet it does have some elasticity and can change shape to some extend.
