In varicose vein operation we avulse superficial veins of leg in which defect is present may be greater saphenous or lesser saphenous .In case of DVT of leg deep System of blood drainage is already blocked nd if you remove superficial system who will drain the blood?.so there will be intense pain nd oedema so pt.will go in hypovolemia shock inspite of having normal amount of blood in body resulting into death of pt.so is contraindicated.
