This triangle is located below liver and above gallbladder and it is located at porta hepatis of liver .Its borders are : superiorly the inferior surface of liver , medially the common hepatic duct and inferiorly the cystic duct . It is important in cholecystectomy bcz the doctor must recognize if there is any anatomical variation and must locate the hepatic artery before ligating the cystic artery .

Located just beloe liver and above the gall bladder, inferior surface of liver > upper border, cystic duct > inferior border, bile duct > medially
