May be indirect effect like formation of atherosclerosis (endothelial damage) leads to myocardial infarction this is the pathology behind Heart failure

I've heard that it is considered much more harmful to those who already have heart diseases, but not that it necessarily leads to cardiac failure for everyone, unless you over do it. Because when it's over done, its effects are also over done on you... Alcohol raises your blood pressure (which could lead to the breaking down of plaque that has built up from cholesterol and the pieces of plaque may block the arteries "feeding" your heart muscle - heart attack). Secondly, alcohol also causes irregularities with the heart beat and these irregularities can lead to formation of clots, which too can block the coronary arteries, hence leading to a heart attack. Thirdly, it's a toxin that doesn't entirely get blocked off by the liver from the rest of your organs, the toxins of alcohol (especially when one has drank like an idiot😂😂) reach other organs including the heart and these toxins slowly damage the heart muscle causing it to weaken and not pump blood out to the rest of the body as effectively as it should - heart failure/cardiomyopathy.
