Children with a nasogastric feeding tube or NG tube, may need their parents or guardians to provide some basic maintenance at home so the tube stays clean and remains effective. These videos show some basic techniques on how to properly maintain NG tubes at home. This video shows how to check the placement of the NG tube at home, to ensure that it is placed in the stomach and not in the lungs.
