Papillary muscles & cordae tendineae (Heart strings) of the heart

This photo is taken of a herbivore's heart, personally bisected by @nasarkhaan (Founder of Medicogram), demonstrating Papillary muscles and Cordae tendineae right in. The papillary muscles are the muscles located in the ventricles of the heart. They are attached to the cusps of the atrioventricular valves (also known as the mitral and tricuspid valves) via the chordae tendineae (The white cords in the given photo) and contract to prevent inversion or prolapse of these valves during systole or ventricular contraction. •At the the end I @nasarkhaan would like to just say thankyou all for being with us and We are really proud to bring you the stuff, that no one ever could !
