RA is an autoimmune disease that affects everyone who is suffering from it differently. Everything stated above is correct in terms of pain management, however the chances of going into remission for a female during pregnancy is high. Research also states that ones diet has a large impact on the inflammation of the joints and exercise such as swimming can have a positive impact.
