Deep fryer accident!

Deep fryer accident!

This hand injury was caused by hot oil from a deep fryer accident! . What type of burn do you think this is based on what you see in the photo? . . . Burns can be categorized into four types: 1️⃣ First-degree burns (superficial burns): The damage is restricted to the outer or topmost layer (epidermis) of the skin. 2️⃣ Second-degree burns (superficial partial thickness): The damage crosses the epidermis and reaches the layer (dermis) underneath. 3️⃣ Third-degree burns (deep partial thickness): The deepest layer (hypodermis) of the skin is damaged. 4️⃣ Fourth-degree burns (full-thickness burns): The skin is destroyed completely with damage to the underlying structures, such as nerves, tendons, and bones.
