A multi-disciplinary team will evaluate your general health and status of illness to decide whether you are suitable for transplant or not. If your case is approved, the transplant hospital will put you on waiting list of United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS). UNOS permits multiple listing therefore you can visit another hospital and put your name in another waiting list as well. Once your name is added to the list, your wait begins. As soon as there is an organ available that matches your compatibility you will be informed.
