You can measure your pulse at the carotid artery in neck and radial artery in wrist. For carotid artery in neck; • Place two fingers on either side of neck, just two fingers below the jaw. Do not use your thumb. • Move your fingers around and press slightly to locate the pulse. • Once you feel the pulse, count the beats for 60 seconds. You can also count for 30 seconds and multiple it with 2. For radial artery in wrist; • Place two fingers on your wrist, more on the side of your thumb. Do not use your thumb. • Move your fingers around and press slightly to locate the pulse. • Once you feel the pulse, count the beats for 60 seconds. You can also count for 30 seconds and multiple it with 2.
