Menetrier's Disease is a disease of the gastric mucosa characterized by gross hypertrophy of the gastric mucosa. The consequence of excessive gastric mucosal production is achlorhydria. In addition, hypoproteinemia and anemia may also occur. The definitive management of this condition is gastrectomy.
