Heck's disease, also known as focal epithelial hyperplasia (FEH), is a benign, viral-induced condition of the oral mucosa. It's characterized by the development of multiple, soft, and painless papules or nodules in the mouth, primarily affecting the lips, cheeks, and tongue. The condition is caused by human papillomavirus (HPV), with types 13 and 32 being the most commonly identified.
