A friend suffers cold anaphylaxis, which can be caused by cold needles, IV fluids, cold water, etc. Just a thought.
May be cold-dependant dermatographism (dermographism) from inappropriate mast cell response & excessive histamine release. Perhaps daily antihistamine (Reactine) for Tx if no other symptoms present. Not a congenital condition
