Recently a Pig kidney was transplanted into a human at Langone Health medical center in New York City, NYU, by Dr. Robert Montgomery. The molecule responsible for the hyper-acute rejection was removed from the Pig cells using GENE DELETION Technology. The transplanted kidney worked.
