Lead is a well-known metal but it is also a strong poison. The toxic properties of lead produces severe poisoning which includes developmental abnormalities in children and behavioral abnormalities in adults. Systemic dysfunction with lead is common. It is commonly added in paints, vehicle batteries, cosmetics and bullets.
