They are found in baked goods such as pies, cookies, cakes, shortening, frozen pizza, microwave popcorn, refrigerated dough as in biscuits and rolls, fried foods such as doughnuts, fried chicken and French fries, nondairy coffee creamer and stick margarine • Add omega-3 containing foods in diet. They are found in fish and other seafood (especially cold-water fatty fish, such as salmon, mackerel, tuna, herring, and sardines), nuts and seeds (such as flaxseed, chia seeds, and walnuts) and plant oils (such as flaxseed oil, soybean oil, and canola oil). • Add soluble fiber in diet. They are found in oatmeal, kidney beans, Brussels sprouts, apples and pears. • Add whey protein in diet.
