Trousseau syndrome is a paraneoplastic syndrome. It may appear before the diagnosis of malignancy. This syndrome is characterized by inflammation of veins secondary to presence of blood clot i.e., migratory thrombophlebitis. Common complications of trousseau syndrome are pulmonary embolism and cerebral infarction.
