Skin lesions

A skin lesion is a part of the skin that has an abnormal growth or appearance compared to the skin around it. Here are few different skin lesions:- ULCER: an open sore on an external or internal surface of the body, caused by a break in the skin or mucous membrane which fails to heal.  BLISTER: a small bubble on the skin filled with serum and caused by friction, burning, or other damage. PAPULE: A papule is a solid or cystic raised spot on the skin that is less than 1 centimeter (cm) wide. SCAB: a dry, rough protective crust that forms over a cut or wound during healing. MACULE: Macules are circumscribed alterations in skin color. The skin surface is neither elevated or depressed in relation to the surrounding skin.
