Your doctor may prescribe you a combination of these drugs; • H-2-receptor blockers • Antacids • proton pump inhibitors Lifestyle modifications include; • Maintain healthy weight. • Quit smoking. • Elevate your head when sleeping by 6-9 inches. • Avoid lying down immediately after meals. Wait for at least 3 hours. • Take small bites and morsels. Chew food properly. • Avoid foods that trigger your symptoms e.g. garlic, onion, spices, alcohol, pickles, sauce, fried food, etc. • Eat healthy.
