Grades of Brain Cancer Grade I; Low proliferative potential, possibility of cure after surgical resection Grade II; Infiltrative but low proliferative potential, chance to recur and progress to higher grades of malignancy Grade III; Histological evidence of malignancy i.e. nuclear atypia and increased mitotic activity Grade IV; Histological evidence of malignancy, mitotically active, prone to necrosis, associated with rapid preoperative and postoperative disease progression and fatal outcomes
